| Personal (what did and/or do you plan to do to enjoy life) | Retired for exactly 2 years, I have yet to begin my new journey. I love outdoor activities of all kinds. Winters it several trips out west to ski, locally it’s snowshoeing and new will be cross country skiing. Reading, art museum exhibits fill in time, with reintroduction to scuba diving this winter. Summers are hiking, camping, fishing and shotgun-fun with my Fondy buddies. Between gardening & landscaping, putting the top down on the sports car and travel Wisconsin is endless in it’s opportunities. What a beautiful state. Road America has and always will be a priority, along with visits with my 99 yr. old mother in Door Co. The fall brings attending Badger & Packer games, and several times a month all year long is attending live music somewhere. With the birth of my first grandchild in August, He will be in my life also. I know I forgot something. I still don’t see enough of my brothers & sisters. So much to do; so little time left to accomplish; so, away I go. |
| High School Memories | It will be difficult to capture all of the memories I have of the idyllic period we all grew up in. We had wonderful, stimulating teachers, a fantastic class of gregarious and respectful students, and an innocent fond du Lac with Y-dances, Youth Center activities, Pete Mengel/Coluimbia Park for swimming, and a host of other spots where we all congregated, laughed and talked until dawn. All I can say is those years were foundational to the spirits we carried with us into adulthood. Heck, My best buddies are still my Fondy buddies. |
